COPPERAS COVE

WILLIAMS

The first test results of the Williams well from the Strawn formation were gathered this week, and showed fantastic results.  The gas samples were also collected for gas analysis to be performed to get the contents of the natural gas, and the results of these contents will feed further into the preparations for gas sales to commence.  CBO is pursuing immediately with further development of a project to drill 2 wells immediately across the street on the Atkinson lease.  Additional plans will also be in the works for more Strawn wells to be drilled on and near the Williams wells.

ATKINSON

The Atkinson lease will be develop with a start of 2 wells drilled to near 2,000 feet, with Strawn as the primary target for development.  With the outstanding results seen in the Williams well, and the proximity of this lease to the Williams lease, we believe there to be enormous reserves to start recovering.

KINDLER

The Kindler #1 well had a moderate-sized frac performed earlier in the week on the Marble Falls formation and remained flowing back under choke the rest of the week.  We've begun seeing a good bit of oil coming back with the fluid and gases that are returning after the well was stimulated.  Continuing into next week, we'll know more about the gas and oil content we can hopefully continue to see come on strong.  The Tank Battery was installed so the delivery of any production can be measured more accurately and prepared for sales.

KING PROSPECT

THOMAS #1

Thomas #1 tank battery to be installed this week and further preparations for the completion will be underway.  We also have a new seismic line being run to help further our insight into the entire King Prospect.

THOMAS #2

Rig 5 completed the drilling of this well this week, and logs were gathered and are being researched for a completion strategy.  Initial views show a double amount of Marble Falls than seen in the Kindler, so this is very encouraging.

KEESEE LEASE (#29806) and KEESEE EXTENSION

The Keesee extension received new tanks for expected production and the completion strategy was furthered along as the completion rig moved up there this week.

HORIZONTAL WELL DRILLERS

We have been working with Horizontal Well Drillers out of Oklahoma City to plan for a 2 year minimum drilling contract.  CBO Energy is preparing for the future developments in drilling of these wells and plans to begin the first well with HWD next quarter.

JACK COUNTY PROSPECT

We have secured 660 acres located in Jack County, southwest of Jacksboro, Tx and have begun to develop a project plan for drilling some new Barnett Shale wells.  This acreage is amidst the northern out-cropped regions of the known Barnett Shale, Fort Worth Basin region, but is having tremendously successful results for other exploration & production companies nearby.  As we develop this project, further details and time-frames will begin to be determined.  We are very excited for this to be an additional prospect on the CBO drilling & development horizon.

UPDATE – 02/17/2008

COPPERAS COVE

We've had quite a bit of activity this week, so sorry for the delay in providing the update...

WILLIAMS #1

Williams #1 was perforated and acidized in the Strawn formation this week and tested on Friday following swabbing back the spent acid and formation residuals.  The well was tested with an orifice tester and appears to be in the 2,000 MCF or "2 Million cubic feet" of natural gas per day.  This was gathered in the initial 2-3 hours following the well's final step in our completion strategy.  More detailed test results will be obtained in the up-coming week while we continue working towards the best solution for gas sales within the region.

KINDLER #1

The Kindler #1 well has a scheduled Acid job for cleaning up around the perforations that were made in the Marble Falls zone earlier this week.  Following the Acid cleanup, a moderate-sized frac will be placed on this well, hoping to open wide the wellbore to allow for whatever fluids are seen on the logs in Marble Falls for this and other wells in the region.  This is the first frac we've seen a record of on the Marble Falls in this production region, so we are excited to see the results this week.

KING PROSPECT

THOMAS #1

Thomas #1 completion and tank battery setup is scheduled for the week around February 27th.  This well is approximately 5 miles north of the Kindler / Morse wells and will help us in the continuation of trying to prove out the stretch of productive zones in the region.

THOMAS #2

Thomas #2 drilling is near complete.  Rig #5 was deployed to the region following some repair work/immediate improvements needed and began drilling in the middle of last week.   Drilling was rough and slow for the first several hundred feet due to the rocky terrain often encountered in the hill country, but began smoothing and rate-of-penetration increase to 1 foot per minute for a bulk of the middle-section drilling.  Several occurances of fossils were reported by the mud-loggers on-site and we will be gathering well log results within the first part of this week.

KEESEE LEASE (#29806) and KEESEE EXTENSION

All three wells were equipped early in the week and received a moderate sized frac simultaneously to increase the effectiveness of the Breckenride openness that our fractures provide.  Given the oil cuts in the surrounding wells, we anticipate to see favorable results from opening up the productive zone with the frac, and hopefully will be reporting IP rates (initial production) rates within a few days.

UPDATE – 02/07/2008

COPPERAS COVE

The Rig #5 crew moved onto the Thomas 2CB location yesterday and were finalizing preparations for drilling late today.

The cleanup and preparation for completions on Williams, Kindler and Thomas wells will begin tomorrow gearing up for a full 2-3 week execution of the completions.  The tanks and equipment for these locations were also ordered this week and will begin arriving to their respective locations within the next few weeks.  We are excited to see how the completion strategies are executed and the type of production we can begin to expect from wells in these regions.

The continued delay on Natural Gas production, due to no gas purchasing pipelines being located in the immediate vicinity is causing us to redirect our focus on a few of these wells.  As we've noted earlier in their drilling progress through our previous updates and the project plan, there are several other production zones in these wells than just Barnett and other potential gas producing zones, so we've devised a strategy to go after the other producing zones in these wells in order to maximize their production capabilities while awaiting further delivery facilities.

KEESEE LEASE (#29806) and KEESEE EXTENSION

Completions for these wells is in preliminary stages, as all three wells received the initial components of their wellhead configuration this week.  Once the completions are done, we will begin the production of these wells and see if they turn as good of production and oil cut as some of the earlier Keesee wells out of the Breckenridge Lime.

KINDLER

Results from our Core Samples/Formation Testing were reviewed this week by NuTech and our drilling/completions team, lending to the up-coming completion strategy, expected to be carried out the week of February 22nd.

CORYELL COUNTY PROSPECT

The Coryell County Prospect includes drilling of numerous wells.  Plans are still under development.  The gas production and completion strategy for the wells drilled on this obtained acreage is developing along with the Copperas Cove well strategies, as the drilling rig or rigs needed for this project are about to return to the area.  Arrangements for cryogenic units and strategies for producing electricity from natural gas are also in development.
